Fans of the Nissan Pathfinder that have been eagerly anticipating the next generation have been waiting a while, but that wait is about to be over. The 2022 Nissan Pathfinder is now available at Lokey Nissan, and our Nissan pros serving Clearwater Tampa Wesley Chapel are ready to help you find the perfect package. With the redesign, the first order of business was maintaining the interior spaciousness that has made the Pathfinder so popular, but Nissan also wanted to make the space more usable and thus added more storage options. While it carried over the V6 from the previous model, it dropped the CVT in favor of a nine-speed automatic, retuned the suspension and refined the steering.

Nissan offers four 2022 Nissan Pathfinder trim levels. The Pathfinder S is the first of those trim levels. It has the aforementioned V6 engine, nine-speed automatic and the mechanical enhancements. It is also worth nothing that the base model can now tow up to 6,000 pounds when properly equipped, and that amount is more than is usual for this class. You have the choice of either front-wheel drive, which is standard, and all-wheel drive, which is optional. Standard exterior features include all LED lighting, 18-inch alloy wheels and a rear spoiler. The cabin comes with premium cloth upholstery, an automatic temperature control system with three distinct zones, push-button start, an 8.0-inch infotainment touchscreen, voice recognition, six speakers, two 12-volt power outlets and four USB connections. The standard driver-assistance suite includes automatic emergency braking, pedestrian detection, blind-spot warning with rear cross-path detection, a rearview camera, rear sonar and rear automatic braking.

The second of the trim levels available for the 2022 Nissan Pathfinder adds to the Safety Shield 360 package with ProPILOT Assist, a semiautonomous driving feature, and with smart versions of some of the other features, such as blind-spot monitoring. It also adds advanced remote engine start that you can activate from the key fob. The exterior is upgraded with roof rails and heated side mirrors with integrated LED turn signal indicators. The interior also receives a number of refinements, including a leather-wrapped steering wheel, heated power-adjustable front seating and Wi-Fi. You also have the option of a Premium Package that adds popular options from the next trim without having to step up to it. This includes captain’s chairs in the second row, a power moonroof and a power liftgate.

SL

The 2022 Nissan Pathfinder SL has a more advanced version of the ProPILOT Assist. Navi-Link can, for instance, slow the vehicle down due to an upcoming curve. The SL also upgrades the standard rearview camera system with a 360-degree camera system that provides dynamic guidelines. It expands the sonar system to the front of the vehicle as well. The exterior is enhanced with fancier roof rails, a power liftgate and LED fog lights. As with the previous trim, you have access to a Premium Package, and this one adds special 20-inch wheels, premium Bose audio, wireless charging and the tow package.
